Lucihormetica verrucosa info Origin: Colombia, Venezuela. Scientific name: Lucihormetica verrucosa Common name: Warty-glowspot cockroach, warty glowspot roach. Lucihormetica verrucosa is a beautiful cockroach species that breeds well in captivity. The adult males have the characteristic warty orange glow spots on their pronotum, females don’t. The glow spots are mostly glowing in wild roaches. Most likely It has to do with their diet. The nymphs are shiny with orange heads and if they are not eating they remain buried into the substrate.
